Business Relief Resources
From the City of Pasadena
SBA Disaster Loan Center & One-On-One Business Support
The Pasadena Women's Business Center and Small Business Development Center are hosting an SBA Disaster Loan Center where business advisors will provide one-on-one advising, and disaster loan application assistance. Starting January 14 from 9AM-6PM Monday-Friday, and 9AM-4PM Saturdays, the Pasadena City College Continuing Education Center located at 3035 E. Foothill Blvd. will be open to assist small businesses and private nonprofit (PNP) organizations who sustained economic losses and physical damages from the wildfires. Walk-ins are accepted, but you can schedule an in-person appointment in advance. More specifics on the Center operations are below.
Emergency Resources for Workers & Businesses
The LA County Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) has compiled information, programs, and resources for workers and businesses affected by the Los Angeles fires. Resources include webinars, loans (local, state, and federal), grants, financial counseling, legal services, insurance and tax information, workforce assistance, FEMA emergency relief, business technical assistance, and more.
Grants for Food & Beverage Workers
Restaurants Care opened a temporary fund to provide emergency relief grants to food and beverage workers impacted by the Los Angeles Area Fires. Grants will range between $350-$1,500. Grants will be awarded based on need and available funding. Note: not all qualified applicants will be awarded funding due to the tremendous need and limited funds.
