A Heart to Heart with CEO Alexia Rodriguez

The year started off in a big way at KW Cares as the Greater LA Wildfires ripped through California, primarily impacting 3 different regions. Thankfully, none of our KW associates were injured. But 28 families lost their homes and all their possessions. Their stories have been devastating, and we’re still learning more about what is needed for those working to recover.

When I reflect on Q1, Family Reunion is a major highlight. I treasure the opportunity to get out of the office to talk with agents, hear stories firsthand, and better understand how KW Cares can help the KW Family. These conversations—paired with the messages from leadership—energize me for the work that remains this year.

Right now, we’re gearing up for KW Cares Month, which begins on May 1! We’re excited to see each Market Center come together in support of the KW Family. We’ve proven time and again that we are all stronger when family helps family—as you’ll see in the numbers below.

Responding to the Greater LA Wildfires

KW Cares and the KW Family jumped into action quickly as the fires tore through the Greater LA area. Click below to hear more about the response efforts.

The Greater LA Wildfires devastated Keller Williams Family members across 5 regions. KW Cares responded immediately through emergency grants, and we will continue to provide aid to those impacted through Catastrophic Hardship grants. The recovery time for a disaster of this magnitude will be extensive.
